Women's Relationship to Nourishment - ART- Group
This ongoing open group offers women a time to create in a safe place with positive insightful art prompts. Through the creative process using writing & art-making, we will create the opportunity to share strengths, stories and experiences surrounding self care. We provide a safe place to nourish ourselves on the levels of body, mind, and soul, through peer to peer support. Art and writing offer an opportunity to express and empower ourselves as women, while allowing the process of creativity, to take us on a healing journey towards our authentic self.

Peer to Peer Creative Writing Group
For women who have already taken one of our 8 week creative writing programs or has taken a writing group from AWA (Amherst Writers & Artists) groups.
This group is a weekly drop in group, ongoing every Friday 10-Noon, which will be ongoing for the FALL 2012-Spring 2013.

Join Lorena of The Salasin Project in the RECOVER Project's RPX (Dance Studio) at
1 Osgood Street, Greenfield MA. Journey Dance is a free exploration of movement sequences that doesn't require any movement or dance experience and moves us "into a loving, intimate relationship with body, mind and source energy". Open to all of the community (Men, Women & Children; who are old enough to participate)

Songwriting from the Heart...
The Salasin Center offers this FREE 8 week Songwriting Group for Women!
Participants experience the healing power of positive feedback and the affirmation that each women’s “song” is worth creating and sharing. Write the song you've always had inside your heart, in a safe, supportive, positive environment. No singing or songwriting experience necessary. We help each other find and express our truest voices, through the use of spoken word poetry and singing. Each participant of the group will have the opportunity to write, perform & record their song. All participants will receive a CD of their song at the end of the eight week group.

We help each other find and express our truest voices in both autobiographical and fictional poems and stories that we write and share with each other.
